This is the
recipe and method of preparation for
Yam pepper soup.
Ingredients
- 1 medium yam tuber
- 2-3 atarodo
- Salt
- Dry fish
- Seasoning
- 2 medium onions
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- Bunch of scent leaves
- Uziza leaves and seed
- Arida
Method of Preparation
- Cut the yam and add it to 2-3 cups of boilinng water
- Blend the scent leaves, uziza leaves and seeds and arida
- Add to the yam and water; add sliced onions and allow to cook
- Add the fish and seasoning. Just shake the pot, dont mix with a spoon so as not to scatter the fish
- Taste for salt and add as needed
- Simmer for about 5 minutes
- The meal is ready.
